Kaoru practiced her fighting. She now used a reverse blade, thanks to Kenshin. She could feel the air slice through the sword and her face. Yahiko had gone into town with Kenshin and Sanoskue was still sleeping. Kaoru stopped. Suddenly, she turned threw a dagger at a tree behind her. It landed right in the middle. She went over pulled out the dagger. She made sure no one was around, then slipped it into a ribbon she had tied around her thigh. After hours of practicing, Kaoru went and took a bath. Then she put on a lovely blue kimono. By that time, Sano and Kenshin were up and Yahiko were back.
"i cant wait to show off my fighting skill's here" sakura shouted
"Company." Kenshin said. Kaoru got up and saw the girl standing nearby. "Who are you?"
A timid looking girl with soft brown hair that was tied into a ponytail and matching eyes stood behind Sakura. "Um, I was told that was a good place to train. Would you mind if I joined you?"
"um hi im sakura and im here to train like kitoko replied, and please dont hurt us cause im sure someone like you could shred me to pieces".
"You may join us for lunch if you'd like," Kaoru invited.
"good cause I’m hungry" starts to drool pleasingly.
Yahiko saw Sakura and his mouth dropped. He rushed to her. "I'm Yahiko. Please, join us! The food is great!" Sanoskue snickered. "Come on, you guys." Kaoru motioned. "There's plenty of food!"
"uhh..okay im not sure if i am hungry any more, he doesnt bite does he?"
No he doesn't." Sano laughed. "Looks like Yahiko has crush someone!" Yahiko tried to punch him but Sano ducked. "SHUT UP!!!!!"
"uuhh.... yeah I'm gonna go eat now"
"Grrr..." "Oh chill out Yahiko." Kenshin said. He turned to Sakura. "So where are you from?"
"I’m from a magical place with happy dancing gay elves, unicorns, and flying piggies, actually I'm from Tokyo"
"And you people thought I was nuts," Sano mumbled. Yahiko admired Sakura. "That's cool." Kaoru and Kenshin snickered. "Yahiko's got a girlfriend! Yahiko's got a girlfriend!" they chorused. "SHUT UP!!!"
"heeeeheeee (more giggles) ohhh, food, i dont think ive eaten in what , 2 days, and trust me its hard for me to not eat five hours agooo.....achooo....uhhh i think ive got a cold, anybody got a tissue"
"Oh, we have a doctor here. You can get checked out after we eat," Kaoru offered graciously.
" good.... achoo, i think ill have something warm to eat"
"i think im goin to take a bath" she was washing herself and started singing "upside inside out livin a vida loca, she'll push and pull you out livin a vida loca, her lips are devil red and her skins the color of moca, she wil wear you wear you out livin a vida loca, come on livin a vida loca......achooo.....snifff....aww man maybe i need to go back home."
Yahiko had a dazed look on his face. "Isn't she great?" Sano punched him. "Get over it already, will ya?" Kenshin wore a content expression on his face. "She's a feisty one, that she is."
"im all cleanie clean and im not as stuffy as i was earlier, hey yahiko you got a red spot on your shoulder"
“hey when do we get to kick some bad dude butt, cause I’m ready, I’ll go boom, pow, whap, wham, oh dizzy” Sakura fell to the ground. “chill, first you need to train” Karou said. “dang it, I don’t wanna wait, I can’t wait any longer” Sakura groaned. “well you can tell she’s the patient type” Sano said. “well I’d rather be impatient than be a dork” Sakura said back. Yahiko could hear her singing. “Ah she sounds like an angel’ he sighed. “uhh…what are you doing” Sakura looked through her door. “umm…..nothing just passin by” he frantically said. “Yahiko is there something you wanna tell me” she asked. “no why” he asked. “because every time I’m near you, you start to do very weird things” she said. “is it because you like me” she asked “no, I umm….just….umm” Yahiko stammered. “goodnight Yahiko” she said as she kissed him on the cheek and went back to her room. He stood there, motionless, he couldn’t get his hand off his cheek. “She…just…” he was interrupted by Sano. “Wasn’t that the cutest thing you’ve ever seen” Sano asked Kenshin and Karou. They both snickered. “SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s not like I like her’ he yelled. Sakura heard this and had a look of sadness on her face. She stood there in the doorway looking at him. “No Sakura, I didn’t, I was just kiddin, uhh you know, uhh please forgive me” he cried. “you don’t like me, then I have no purpose for being here” she ran out of the dojo. “Sakura wait, please let me explain” Yahiko ran after her. ‘you have made it clear that you do not feel the same way about me as I do for you” she said not looking at him. “I didn’t mean it, I was just trying to get Sano off my back, Never would I try to hurt you on purpose, your really special to me, and even though we have just met, I really like, a whole lot’ he blushed. “you mean it” she asked in a manner of distrust. “yeah, its just I don’t like sharing my feelings with other people” he looked down at the ground. “I know how you feel, back where I come from, people did not really like me, they thought I was a freak, in fact the only friend I had was my best friend Kateriko, the people of my village said I did not belong, that I Could never fit in, and that made me insecure to show my emotions to other people” she said. He looked at her sympathetically, “well I can assure you, you are most welcome here, and you will be treated like everyone else” Yahiko said and put his hand on her shoulder. She smiled at him, and he smiled back. They were about to leave when they heard a voice. “well hello there princess” a figure appeared out of the shadows. He had long shoulder length white hair, blue gray eyes, and a grin of wickedness. “I have been looking all over for you princess” the boy said. “well you aint getting her” Yahiko said. “well aren’t you a feisty little child” the boy said. “look who’s talking” yahiko said. “what do you want with her?!” yahiko yelled. “well I want her so she can be, oh lets just call her my little play thing” he grinned. “you sick pervert” Yahiko snarled. “well shall we go now princess” he held out his hand. “no way would I ever go with a guy who is as self centered, obnoxious, jerky, perverted freak as you” she yelled. “well your even feistier than your little friend over here, I like that” he jumped down and came towards Sakura. “You come one step closer and it’ll be your last step” Yahiko got out his wooden sword. “hmm, if you behave I might let you become my slave” the boy said to Yahiko. “yeah right, get lost” yahiko struck towards him but the boy dodged. “oh how rude am I, I didn’t even introduce my self, my name is Tenaru, you future husband pretty princess” tenaru smiled at Sakura. “you call me pretty or princess one more time and I’ll kill you” she grabbed out her fan blades of Bannryuu. “oh she has a fan, I’m so scared, Mauro Taro get out here now” Tenaru yelled and two boys appeared. Mauro had light blonde hair and emerald green eyes. Taro had blood red hair and dark blue eyes. They both went after Sakura and Yahiko. “lets tag team on ’em” Sakura yelled at Yahiko. “oh yeah” they both positioned for attack. Yahiko went after Mauro and Sakura after Taro. “MELODY OF THE SAMARAUI” Sakura yelled as beams of light and music notes came out of her fans and went after Mauro and Taro. “whoa” Yahiko yelled in amazement. “hmm impressive” Tenaru said. ’yeah now its your turn buddy” Sakura lunged after him but he ducked and she fell to the ground. “Hmm and I would have expected better form the daughter of the leader of the band of seven” he laughed. “you bastard I’ll kill you” she tried to get up but couldn’t. “and that’s my queue” Tenaru said as he grabbed Sakura. “let go of me” she struggled. Yahiko being distracted by the two buffoons saw that he was taking her. “put her down” he ran after them. “Yahiko help me” Sakura yelled. “damn you let go of my girl’ Yahiko was angry. “Sorry but she is already taken by me” Tenaru laughed at Yahiko. “WHAT?! No way would I ever go out with you, I have self dignity” Sakura yelled. “right sure ya do” Tenaru said as he went into a portal and disappeared with Sakura in his arms. “Damn him, I couldn’t save her” he pounded his fist on the ground. Kenshin and the gang saw him on the ground. “what happened, where’s Sakura” Karou asked. “some guy named tenaru took her, just wait until I find him, I’ll kill him” Yahiko was even madder. “Before that you need to ret, I mean look at your waist” Sano pointed. Yahiko saw that one of the two idiots must have struck him while he saw Sakura disappear. “I’m fine, I need to save Sakura” he tried to get up. “and what die in the process, think Yahiko, if you try to go and save her in this condition then you will die, and what good will that do?” Sano asked loudly. “well I cant just sit around and watch that jerk take off with my girl” Yahiko yelled. “Wow Yahiko I never knew you cared so much about her” Karou said in amazement. “I know when I’m around Sakura, I get this weird feeling in my stomach, and its not a bad feeling but a good feeling” Yahiko said. “ah the feeling of love, affected me much it has” Kenshin said and Karou giggled. “well if you feel so strongly about this, than lets go and save our friend” Karou yelled.
